Structured for the long term
The Foundation holds, administers and grows private capital under DIFC law, supervised by the DIFC Courts and the Dubai Financial Services Authority.
Its mandate is capital preservation and growth. Allocation decisions take a multi-year view; the Foundation does not trade for short-term return.
As a foundation rather than a company, it holds property in its own name for the purposes set out in its Charter, administered on a continuing basis rather than for a fixed term.
Allocation decisions are assessed against a multi-year horizon rather than quarterly performance. Positions are sized to preserve optionality, and the Foundation does not employ leverage at the Foundation level.
Diversification is applied across asset class, geography and counterparty, consistent with an objective of capital preservation ahead of yield.
The Foundation does not solicit investment from the public and does not provide financing, credit or lending services. Specific transactions or counterparties are not referenced without their consent.
Direct & private investments
Equity and structured positions in privately held businesses.
Real assets
Real estate and other tangible, income-generating assets.
Maritime & transport assets
Ownership and financing interests in maritime structures.
Treasury & fixed income
Cash and fixed-income instruments held for capital preservation.
The Foundation is constituted under the DIFC Foundations Law (DIFC Law No. 3 of 2018), through a Charter and By-laws filed with the DIFC Registrar of Companies. Its Council administers the Foundation's property under those documents, within the purposes and powers they set out.
It holds a non-financial licence issued by the DIFC Registrar of Companies and does not provide financial services, credit or lending to the public or to third parties.
Amendments to the Charter and By-laws, and decisions outside the Council's ordinary powers, follow the procedures set out in those constitutional documents.
The Foundation is subject to the UAE's federal anti-money laundering framework (Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2018, as amended) and to DIFC reporting requirements, including UAE Corporate Tax registration.
Screening of the Foundation and its principals for sanctions and politically exposed person (PEP) status is applied on an ongoing basis through its banking relationships with UAE-regulated financial institutions, and is repeated periodically rather than only at onboarding.
Counterparties and transactions are subject to due diligence proportionate to risk before the Foundation commits capital. Its constitutional documents provide for the appointment of an independent auditor.
Correspondence and due-diligence enquiries may be directed in writing to the registered office, or by email.
